Heather Anne Campbell

Heather Anne Campbell is a writer for Saturday Night Live in New York. She began her improv career at the age of 15, under the direction of Del Close in Chicago. After touring with Close's final show, Spoo, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in writing and acting. In the last decade, she has performed all over the world; her credits include Northwestern's The Mee-Ow Show, IOChicago, IOWest, Amsterdam's Boom Chicago, The Groundlings Sunday Company, UCBNY, and the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. In early 2010, she joined the cast of Drew Carey and the Improv All-Stars, which now airs on GSN as Drew Carey's Improv-a-Ganza. Heather has appeared on MadTV, MTV, in many miserable pilots, and in various national commercials. At UCB LA, Heather performs weekly with longform improv troupe Last Day of School, and with sketch gang The Midnight Show.

Campbell is also a video-game journalist, former Editor of Play Magazine and Geek Monthly, and current contributor to EGM.
