Katie Schorr

Katie is an actor and writer in New York. In other cities, she is other things. Her first show Take Me. Seriously. ran at the the UCBT in NY, LA, and at the Out of the Bounds Comedy Festival in Austin, which is a city in Texas. Her second one-woman show Did I Do That? ran at Joe's Pub, Ars Nova, and the Laurie Beechman Theatre.

Katie can currently be seen on TV eating a supernaturally-crunchy steamed snap pea in a Healthy Choice commercial.  She's also appeared on Vh1's now-defunct Best Week Ever and as an improviser in a profoundly-deep sociological study on The Tyra Banks Show.  She can also be spotted in lots of videos for College Humor and LandlineTV, onstage at the Ensemble Studio Theatre and Ars Nova, and in neat short films, like Walk the Fish and Test Run.

She writes and co-stars in the web series, Efficient Officiant, with Lance Rubin. She loves Kellogg's Product 19 cereal, Jill Clayburgh, Anne Lamott, and self-inflating whoopee cushions.
