Joe Spellman
Joe Spellman is an actor and writer currently living in Los Angeles. Born in New York City. Raised in Cheshire, CT. Joe has been performing all his life. He graduated from Hofstra University, where he acted in many different stage productions. Sick of that, he decided to do improv, and has been taking classes and performing at the UCB since 2005. He has studied under Chris Gethard, Billy Merritt, Michael Delaney, Jason Mantzoukas, and Matt Walsh. Joe has performed with former UCB-NY house improv teams, $12K, The Fucking Kennedys, and Penthouse Riot. Also, Joe was a writer/performer for the UCB-NY house sketch team, Stone Cold Fox. Other UCB-NY credits include: Waiting for Obama, UCBW CageMatch, and High School Talent Show. Currently, Joe is a writer on the UCB-LA Sketch team, Hot Mess. Other UCB-LA credits include: Sketch Cram LA, Nighttime with Dominic Diekers, Not Too Shabby
