Bridie Harrington
Bridie Harrington has been studying at the UCB since 2004. She is excited to be performing with the new Harold team "Beatrice". Bridie moved to New York two years ago after receiving her MFA in Acting from the University of Washington where she played Nora in Jon Jory's production of A Doll's House, and (only) once fell asleep in trapeze class. Regionally she has performed at such theatres as The Guthrie Lab, Artists Repertory Theatre and Seattle Repertory Theatre. New York credits include the Ensemble Studio Theatre, Manhattan Theatre Source and the Vital Theatre. Last year she was seen wearing pearl earrings on the witness stand in Fox's the Jury, which she was excited to learn has played three times in a foreign country. Most recently she played Talia in a new adaptation of Chekhov's The Proposal, for the Immediate Theatre Co. Upon graduating from college Bridie was the recipient of a fellowship from Shakespeare's Globe, London, funded by the department of defense. Her most exciting acting experience this year was playing opposite Jon Bon Jovi as his dead sister in a reading that no one saw, but trust her, it really happened.
