Current Shows

Born and raised in New York City, Julie is a regular performer at UCB in GRAVID WATER. After attending Vanderbilt University and performing in the college improv group Tonguencheek and Nashville based group The Patron Saints, Julie returned to New York and began studying and performing at UCB. She has co-written and performed in several shows including LAWYER/ACTRESS, SERIOUSLY EXTREMELY IMPORTANT, SEX IN WHITE SHIRTS AND JEANS, and THE GOODS ARE ODD (also featured in the 2006 NY International Fringe Festival).

Since graduating with her MFA from the NYU Tisch School of the Arts Graduate Acting Program in 2009 she has appeared in New York in Shakespeare in the Park's TWELFTH NIGHT (understudying Anne Hathaway), CHARITY, and the 52nd Street Project One-on-Ones. She has performed at The Williamstown Theatre Festival and Georgia Shakespeare Festival, appeared in a number of NYU Graduate Film School student films, and has participated in readings for Naked Angels, The Public Theater, Young Playwrights, Richmond Theater Ensemble, and others.

Oh, and she played a young woman who has a transcendental moment with a tissue in the recent "Touch, Touch, Feel" Kleenex campaign. She would like to thank Kleenex for putting her through grad school.
