Echo Kellum grew up on the non-violent streets of Chicago’s thriving south side. It was there, while in a house, watching In Living Color: his comedic acting bones started to mature (he has two). He’s been acting ever since, booking his first regional theatre tour at the age of 13. Four years ago, he decided to implant himself in the dangerous, and cutthroat community of Chicago’s north side theatre and commercial actors district. Two years ago, he moved to L.A., and improv comedy stole his heart. He has a musical/comedy duo called, “Shadow Cats”. He’s trained at the UCB theatre, IO west, and the Groundlings. He plays on the IO West sketch team “Pilot”, and on the UCB Harold team “Winslow,” and Maude Team "New Money," and can be seen in one of his various national spots, or in various failed pilots that were awesome.
