Murf Meyer
Hello, friend. My name is Murf Meyer, and I'm a lovable madman. Here are a few things about me I'd like you to know.
Right out of the gate I want to inform you I'm a writer and performer for The Dependable Felons, a multimedia production company based in Brooklyn. The Felons are currently touring NYC with The Whiskey Tango Living Room Tour. The WTLRT is sponsored by Bushmills Irish Whiskey, which is wonderful because I drink lots of the stuff.
Every Wednesday night at 11:00pm you can see me as a panelist on The Chris Gethard Show, which airs live on the Manhattan Neighborhood Network. I spend the winter months as a resident actor in the East Harlem Children's Theatre Company, a job I enjoy very much.
I'm certain you've heard my voice and/or seen my face in various television and Internet commercial spots. You've also, undoubtedly, seen me strutting my stuff in videos for Funny Or Die.
I began studying improvisation and sketch writing at the Upright Citizens Brigade Training Center in the spring of 2010. I performed on Tuesday nights with the Harold teams Deckard and Surfing.
I reside in Brooklyn, and I share a birthday with Virginia Woolf, Alicia Keys, and The Honky Tonk Man. I refuse to write about myself in the third person.
You can contact me at [email protected]
