JD Amato
J.D. Amato is a performer and filmmaker based in New York.
He has been studying improv at the UCB Theater since August 2009 and has studied under: Greg Tuculescu, Betsy Stover, Anthony Atamanuik, Erik Tanouye, Brandon Gardner, Kevin Hines, Chris Gethard, Dyna Moe, Anthony King, and a number of other performers and instructors.
J.D. performs regularly at Harold Night and has performed in a bunch of shows at the UCB Theater as well as worked as a director and producer for many shows at the theater. He is the Director and one of the Executive Producers and writers of the live late night public access variety podcast The Chris Gethard Show and works as a director around NYC. He performs improv with indie team Jump on Three as well as with the UCB Harold Team Rocks.
