Sara Schaefer

Sara Schaefer is a stand up comedian, writer, and producer living inNewYork City since 2001. She has gathered critical acclaim for herliveshows “Sara Schaefer is Obsessed With You,” “Video Gaga” at theUprightCitizen’s Brigade Theatre, and “Get Off Your Knees” at The BellHouse.In 2006, Sara became the host of AOL’s on-line music/comedyshow, “TheDL.” From there, she began blogging for BestWeekEver.tv, andthen, in2009, she began working as the head blogger for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Her work at Late Night earned her two Emmy Awards and a Webby Award. Sara’s television appearances include Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Best Week Ever, and E!’s Rise of The Geeks. She was one of Comedy Central's Comics to Watch in 2010. In 2010, she launched a podcast called You Had To Be There [youhadtobetherepodcast.tumblr.com] [youhadtobetherepodcast.tumblr.com] with comedian Nikki Glaser. Currently, Sara writes for Who Wants to be a Millionaire. Her new show at UCBeast, "HOT DANG!," is co-produced by Scott Moran.
