Owen Parsons
Owen Parsons is a writer and comedian living in NYC. While a student at Dartmouth College, he worked as an editor for its century-old humor magazine, "The Jack-O-Lantern," as well as a performer for its 9-year-old improv group, "Casual Thursday." He graduated and moved to NYC in 2008 with no job, few contacts, a love of comedy, and a weak grasp on how proper life-planning works.
Since then he has studied improv and sketch at the UCB Theatre under Brandon Gardner, Ari Voukydis, Gavin Speiller, Eric Scott, and Adam Conover. His work has been featured online at McSweeneys, Dorkly, and CollegeHumor.com, where he currently writes articles and original videos. He is the coeditor of Dorkly.com, and a writer for the UCB Maude Team Stone Cold Fox.
