Veronica Osorio

Vero is a proud performer on the UCB Maude Team 212. She was raised in Venezuela and learned English watching SNL, HBO and Seinfeld with subtitles.

Her teachers have included Neil Casey, Curtis Gwinn, Anthony Atamanuik, Zach Woods, Lydia Hensler, Abra Tabak, Anthony King, Shannon O'Neill, Kevin Hines and Michael Delaney.

She stars in, wrote and produced her one person web show Kate's Craft Corner, featured in HuffPo Comedy, starred in the viral video "Manic Pixie Prostitute" and wrote and performed "Aubrrey Plaza As Dora The Explorer" both featured in Entertainment Weekly, A.V. Club, Vulture, and many other blogs. You've also seen her at UCB's solo show First Woman On The Moon, in Leila Cohan's This Is About Smith (SketchFest 2010, UCB), in Vag Magazine web series written by Leila Cohan and Caitlin Tegart and Yahoo's Mansome, Jest.com and Landline TV.

You'll soon see her in a few pilots and short films!

While in Venezuela she performed with the first improv team in the country, "Improvisto" for six seasons. Her full-length feature film, "Boves," opened in Venezuelan theaters in 2010 and won several International film awards.
