FrISC: Friars Club Improv + Sketch Competition
Get FrISC’d! The second annual Friars Club Improv + Sketch Competition (FriSC) comes to Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre for two nights only – June 24th and 25th. Watch the top 5 improv and top 5 sketch teams battle it out for the chance to make a short film that will debut at the 2011 Friars Club Comedy Film Festival in October.
The Friars Club Comedy Film Festival (FCCFF) has sponsored FrISC in order to foster the next generation of comedy filmmakers. A panel of expert judges will select the top team in each category. They will then have 3 months to make a short film that will premiere at the 2011 FCCFF. Our hope is that they can then use this film to take their careers to the next level.
