We Used To Go Out
You know that time in a relationship where you should break up but instead stay together and make your lives a living hell? UCB favorites Jason Mantzoukas and Jessica St. Clair have written a show about it. An unflinchingly funny look at relationships by the duo that Variety called “…the next Nichols and May.”
Mantzoukas and St. Clair are currently developing We Used to Go Out for HBO. Their last show, I Will Not Apologize, a Time Out NY critics’ pick, went to HBO’s U.S. Comedy Arts Festival and served as the basis for a pilot they developed for Comedy Central. They can also be seen performing with the group Mother every Saturday night at the UCB Theatre in New York. Jessica currently is a regular panelist for VH1’s Best Week Ever and starred in the NBC pilot Lies and the Wives We Tell Them To last spring. Jason’s original screenplay, Mr. Amnesia, co-written with Brian Huskey, recently sold to Paramount Pictures.
