Get FrISC’d! The inaugural Friars Club Improv + Sketch Competition (FriSC) comes to Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre for two nights only – June 25th and 26th. Watch the top 5 improv and top 5 sketch teams battle it out for $10,000 and the chance to make a short film that will debut at the 2010 Friars Club Comedy Film Festival in September.

The Friars Club Comedy Film Festival (FCCFF) has sponsored FrISC in order to foster the next generation of comedy filmmakers. A panel of expert judges will select the top team in each category and award them $10,000 each. They will then have 3 months to make a short film that will premiere at the 2010 FCCFF. Our hope is that they can then use this film to take their careers to the next level.
