This lady is a comedian from rural Ireland but for one night only she has modified her homegrown stories to be of relevance to New Yorkers. A sample sentence will now be ‘Once I saw a lady with red hair making butter…on the 6 Train!’ That’s not strictly true but she’s just so excited about the show – who knows what will happen? One thing is certain, this December 3rd at the UCB theatre Maeve will present to you an hour of low key and beautifully crafted stand up comedy that is sure to wow you… if you’re into that kind of thing.

Maeve was a principal writer and actor in 'Naked Camera,' a popular hidden camera show that ran for three series, broadcast on RTE 2005-2007. Her latest TV series, which she wrote and stars in, is called 'Fancy Vittles' and was broadcast on RTE in Sept/October 2009.
