Elaine Carroll is an actress, writer, producer, and recent transplant to LA from New York City. She graduated from Marymount Manhattan where she got her BFA in Acting. She got the comedy bug in college when she and 4 buddies started the sketch group "Dutch West" (dutchwest.tv). She's been studying at UCB since 2007 and has performed all around New York with the improv groups "The Mighty Joels" and "Maybe Sherman". Elaine can be seen in numerous videos on CollegeHumor.com and was formally on UCB NY's Maude Team "Gramps". Most recently, she created the web series, "Very Mary-Kate", the unofficial life and times of Mary-Kate Olsen (verymarykate.com). She's studied under Porter Mason, Curtis Gwinn, Eric Scott, Charlie Todd, Neil Casey, Doug Moe, and many other funny and talented people. Elaine is equally passionate about traveling and BBQ, and finds both science and elephants completely fascinating. You can see her on Maude Night performing with "The Space Station".
