Pat Baer was born and raised in Northford, CT. He moved to NYC in 2001 and attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Pat started out as an intern at UCB and has acted as the Head of the Tech department since 2004. He started his improv training in September 2002, and has studied under various teachers including Sean Conroy, Kevin Mullaney, Charlie Todd, Billy Merritt, and Ian Roberts. Pat currently runs the annual 3 on 3 Improv Tournament, which is the first show he ever hosted for UCB. Pat received the ECNY award for Best Technician in 2005. He also has a podcast called the Hanging Out with Pat Baer Podcast, which you should search for on iTunes. If you find yourself at the UCB, there's a chance 90% Pat's in the tech booth.
