Anna Rubanova has been studying improvisation at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater since June of 2005. She has studied under improv greats Chris Gethard, Michael Delaney, Christina Gausas, Anthony King, Billy Merritt, and many others. She is a founding member of the monoscene group, Death League Tea Party, and - under the guidance of their tough-as-nails but lovable director, Neil Casey - has performed with them all throughout New York City. Other notable appearances include the Del Close Marathon, Anthony King's Sensory Deprivation, the 3x3 Tournament, Frigid Fest New York and, of course, Blackout!: Improv In The Dark. Anna likes rain, things made of stone, history and people who "get it."
