Eli Newell has been studying and performing improv and sketch comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre since 2000. He can be seen at UCBT and around the country performing with the UCB Touring Company. Past sketch shows include Tick Tick Tick, Manson Roast, Dogs of St. Christopher, Blackout!!!, NeoTokyo GirlCrush 2040, Dances with Bears and many others. Eli is most proud of his 23.5 seconds of television fame from numerous appearances on NBC’s Late Night with Conan O’Brien (the Hunky Newcomer), Comedy Central’s Daily Show with Jon Stewart, VH1’s Best Week Ever, and ESPN's Cheap Seats. In 1995, Eli was awarded first prize in the Oregon State Thespian Conference so you know he's quality.
