Matthew DeCoster
Hi! I'm Matt. I started studying improv at the UCB in May 2001, and have performed with such Harold teams as Monkeydick, Nancy Reagan, Kill Your Darlings and, currently, DeCoster (that was not my idea, btw). I've also performed in UCB shows like Instant Cinema, The Big Heist, How to Live Comfortably, Doc & Chains, Spaceship Fantastica, and (the mis-named) Greatest Sketch Show on the Planet. I also recently finished the run of a sketch show with Will Hines called Seven Fights, and some guy wrote a review saying I reminded him of Cosmo Kramer (he was writing a review for another show, so it was very nice of him to say anything). Outside of UCB, I co-wrote and acted in videos such as The Fun Squad, The Block and The Sac Brothers, and have appeared in videos like Mr. Glasses, Sexual Intercourse American Style, Cakey!, My Wife the Ghost, The Widower, That Mad Scientist Show, Trivia Night, What's What, and Tourist Beat New York. Several of these shows have been shown on Channel 101 New York, Super Deluxe and Funny or Die, as well as UCBcomedy.com. I also do trapeze and martial arts and used to be a lawyer.
