Ellie Kemper

Performer Headshot
Ellie Kemper is a woman actor and writer living in New York City. She has been improvising all of her adult life, which began –– too soon –&ndash at age 12. Ellie's television credits include Late Night With Conan O'Brien, Fuse's The P.A, and her breakout role in Gastineau Girls, starring opposite the ageless Lisa Gastineau. She has been in several national commercials and has also lent her voice to a Dunkin' Donuts radio spot airing in Tampa and Cleveland. She is grateful for the $18.37 made from that, and for the two Old Navy shirts purchased with it.

Ellie is a contributor to McSweeney's and The Onion and has written numerous sketch shows with her comedy partner, Scott Eckert. Past shows at UCB include Death and/or Despair, Listen Kid, Gang Bang, and The Improvised Mystery. She was a member of Mailer Daemon and currently performs on Tuesday nights with her no-limits Harold team, fwand. Those are freckles on her face, not dirt.
