Nate Smith

Nate Smith is a filmmaker, actor and writer in New York City.  Nate writes, directs and edits comedy shorts and ads that can be found online at sites like funnyordie, ucbcomedy and atom.com as well as his own websites, coffeeshopcomedy.com and rogue-elephant.net.  Notable acting credits include his role as an TGS writer on NBC\'s 30 Rock- a role that involves a lot of reacting and very little talking, a lead role in the upcoming independent feature, Hello Lonesome, sketches for collegehumor.com & landlinetv.com; and a handful of national commercials.  Nate has been a part of dozens of shows on the UCB stage, and currently performs with the Harold team, Badman.  Nate regularly directs shows at the UCB including Cool Your J, Highly Evolved Human, I Laughed Until I Died and shows for the UCB Maude team, Slow Burn. Nate is a founding member of the improv and sketch group, Rogue Elephant, who have performed for over five years at their own monthly show.  In addition to comedy, Nate has worked extensively in documentary films as an editor and producer.
