Nate Smith

Nate Smith has worked in New York as a comedy writer and actor for the past several years. He began studying and performing at the UCB Theatre in 2003 and has since been a part of a bunch of shows on the UCB stage, most notably with the UCB Harold team, T.R.U.C.K.S.

Nate is a founding member of the independent improv and sketch team, Rogue Elephant, which performs regularly at venues around New York City. Rogue Elephant's most recent sketch show "Now That's What I Call Rogue Elephant!" premiered at the UCB in July of 2007.

Nate was a contestant on the 2006 web-based reality show, Project Improviser (he came in seventh). He has produced several video shorts with Rogue Elephant and on his own (viewable on Rogue's website). And in addition to comedy, Nate has worked extensively in documentary films as an editor and producer.
