Liz Wisan

Performer Headshot
Liz Wisan has been using comedy as a defense mechanism since she was an awkward, self-deprecating, fat kid in Harlem. She received a BA in from Skidmore College where she studied Theater, and Opera Performance. She began her UCB studies in 2002 under Chad Carter, Owen Burke, Seth Morris, Billy Merritt, and Michael Delaney. In NYC you may have seen her as a member of Jenny, performing the Evente under the direction of Armando Diaz, or in a number of awesome plays such as “Dracula” (DT|NY), and “Ula”. She has also worked for three seasons at Williamstown Theatre Festival in "Under Milk Wood," "Blood On the Cat’s Neck," and "Twelfth Night." With co-conspirator Julie Sharbutt, "The Goods Are Odd" marks Liz’s first professional attempt as a sketch writer, and hopefully the beginnings of a long career of performing in basements.
