Dan Gregor

Dan Gregor has performed and studied at the UCB theater for the past 4 years. He's a writer-performer for the acclaimed sketch comedy troupe, Wicked Wicked Hammerkatz (BEST SKETCH TROUPE 2005- Emerging Comics of New York Awards). Additionally, he writes and performs with his trio, Chubby Skinny Kids. He's performed improv on resident house ensembles at the UCB Theater, Magnet Theater and as a founding member of New York University's longest running troupe, Dangerbox. Gregor has studied under Ian Roberts, Matt Walsh, Armando Diaz, Ali Farahnakian, Christina Gausas and others. Professionally, he has worked in production on Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, The Late Show with David Letterman, FHM, and on a Robert Smigel movie that was never finished. For the last two years he has worked in HBO's Comedy Development department on such shows as Real Time with Bill Maher, One Night Stand, Tourgasm, George Carlin's Life Is Worth Losing and many others.
