The Sit Down and Shut Up NYPD Variety Hour

Hey you! Officers Joey, Patty, and Davey aren't your regular everyday NYPD cops. They're friggin hilarious! And they're sick of all these be-glassed, scruffy comedian types getting all the accolades. So they kindly, but firmly asked the UCB Theatre to let them put their own comedy show up, and up is where it's gonna go.

So come to the UCB Theatre for the Sit Down and Shut UP NYPD Variety Hour. Or to put it another way, you're gonna come and you're gonna like it! You get me?

Starring Dan Black, Beth Appel, Shaun Diston, Kate Riley, Paul Welsh, Laura Wilcox and Rob Stern

Written by Adam Levy, Conor Izzett,

and Darren Nelson

Original Music by Ben Krauss

Directed by Adam Conover

"A slick combination of comedy and tragedy, offering a sharp, refreshing perspective...the writers and cast successfully tap into the true spirit of the American narrative: chasing down a dream that will never be arrested."

THE FRANCO & BILLY SHOW: Diamonds of Fire

Diamonds of Fire - the new live comedy show from entertainment duo, Franco & Billy, sets diamonds on fire by igniting the most terrifying mélange of sketch, film and musical performance this side of the Mekong.

Written, directed by and starring Peter Blomquist and Jeff Wiens

"It’s endearing somehow to watch this sort of sophomorically funny material done without the winking condescension it usually receives.”

- NY Times

"Think “Mr. Show”, only creepier, more manic and possibly certifiable."

-The Hollywood Reporter

"The parallels between The Franco and Billy Show and Monty Python are undeniable. They are both sometimes surreal, sometimes historical, and sometimes completely incomprehensible. They toss film clips, music and sketch comedy into a single puke-colored but delicious stew."

- NY Press
