Hot Lather Presents: As The Diamond Burns, An Improvised Soap Opera

The steamy, smoky mining town of Charcoal Ridge, Connecticut is a lusty heathen hump of deceit, desire, murder, betrayal, doing it, and other things.

Watch as the characters blindly follow their darkest passions into a pitch-black cave of surrender.

Starring the immeasurably attractive members of Hot Lather: Mike Cavanaugh, Matt Fisher, Jon Gutierrez, Molly Lloyd, Anna Rubanova, Achilles Stamatelaky, Mike Still, Abra Tabak, Andree Vermeulen & Paul Welsh.

Directed by the intemperate Rob Webber

Musical Accompaniment by Ari Scott

The Spin: Improvised Political Satire

Care about our republic? Then come see The Spin, an improvised show based entirely on a current political news story chosen by you, the citizen audience.

While we all love our late-night talk show hosts, they get time to prepare their eviscerations of political foolishness, arrogance, and stupidity . But the trained and politically savvy improvisers of The Spin don't have the luxury of time or cue cards.

So like our political leaders, we'll make it up as we go along.

Like the McLaughlin Group but without the old cranky dude, The Spin takes the news of the day and runs it through the spin cycle, improvising scenes ripped from the headlines. If you think George Stephanopoulos is dreamy, but not funny enough, you'll love The Spin.

Directed by Doug Moe

Starring: Jeremy Bent, Beth Cartier, Guy Cohen, Timothy Cooper, Eric Hollerbach, Barry Lank, Beth Newell, David Siegel, Matt Stillman, John Robert Wilson
