FAILURES

Students who fail to meet attendance and show requirements are subject to failure. Three absences or a failure to attend two performances pertaining to their course of study will result in failure. In these instances, students are allowed to repeat the level.

Students who exhibit inappropriate conduct as described on page 13 of this catalogue may also be removed from the class and receive a failing grade. The Academic Supervisor, Training Center Manager and Managing Director will review the studentÕs behavior through interviews with both student and instructor in order to determine if the student will be allowed to enroll in future classes at the Training Center.

Instructors are expected to fail any student that they feel demonstrates a severe lack of understanding of basic course concepts. In order for a student to receive a failing grade, the student's abilities should be on a remedial level such that they would be hindering the progress of their peers if promoted. In these instances, decisions made by the instructor are final. The Training Center Manager will notify students of failure via e-mail.
