Improv 600 - Performance Workshop

3 & 4 Person Monoscenes

Taught by Charlie Todd

Learn how to do awesome monoscenes with three or four people. We'll work on how to sustain the same characters and same location for a full piece with only three improvisers. The focus will be on listening, endowing, playing things real, and finding global games that can be patterned throughout a piece. Charlie will teach the tools he's learned from performing three-person monoscenes with C,C,+C Improv Factory for the past two years, including: character matching, playing multiple characters in the same scene, bending space, and creating seamless flashbacks. You'll get out of your head and find yourself listening and reacting more than ever. This class will perform at the theatre for 4 weeks.
