There is no prerequisite, however this is a class for intermediate and advanced players. This is not recommended to improvisors who are new to longform improv.
Ian Roberts
Ian Roberts studied improvisation at ImprovOlympic under Charna Halpern
and Del Close. Roberts was a member of the Second City National Touring
Company and a founding member of the Upright Citizens Brigade. He has
written and performed in every UCB show since the group’s inception in
1990. Ian received rave reviews for his role as the tyrannical choreographer Sparky Polastri in the Kirsten Dunst film Bring It On. Ian co-wrote and co-stars in the independent film Martin & Orloff that premiered at The U.S. Comedy Arts Festival. The film played to packed houses and garnered rave reviews at the SXSW Film Festival, the Chicago Improv Festival, the Lake Placid Film Forum and The Toyota Comedy Festival. Recently Ian can be seen as the cameraman in Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy starring Will Ferrell and Christina Applegate.
